The gold apples in the Hesperides islands

The "gold apples of Hesperides" was the marriage gift of Gaea to Hera and the second one planted them "in the side of the ocean". We think these are the fruit of earth. Is they were representations of apples made of gold, they could not be planted. There are no golden apples. So these were the golden yellow nice fruit, citrus, lemons, oranges and tangerines, that grew in the islands of Hesperides in the side of the Atlantic Ocean and named them citrus fruit…
